About Us

Mencentric Limited was formed in February 2014 by Mark Coulter who had, until then set up and managed the award winning perpetrator programme Strength To Change which is based in Hull, East Yorkshire.

Under his leadership in September 2013 Strength To Change was identified as one of top three ranked UK projects cited by Home Office to European Crime Prevention Network (EUPCN) as an example of best practice in crime prevention. Working with predominantly high risk clients Strength To Change consistently achieved an 80% reduction in offending-based on client’s previous histories and data supplied by Humberside Police.  In 2013 Strength To Change was a Centre for Social Justice Annual Award Winner having been identified as ‘an effective and exemplary agent of change’ and in early 2014 Strength To Change was cited as an example of innovation by the Early Intervention Foundation in their report on Domestic Violence & the impact upon children.

Mencentric provides consultancy and training to statutory and third sector agencies;  to professionals who either currently work with men within the context of domestic violence and abuse and to the increasing number of agencies who wish to develop and provide appropriate, effective holistic interventions to men within the context of domestic violence, early intervention and child protection remits. Capacity building and service design and improvement are an integral part of our service offer.

Mencentric is also provides consultation to social work teams working within the child protection arena and others who are working with families where domestic violence is occurring. This includes case discussion, management and supervision; our support is tailored to the needs of our clients.

We also provide expertise in Social Marketing and Social Return On Investment, increasingly an essential part of any commissioning structure. We can show you how you evidence that your intervention saves money and is cost-effective in delivering behavioural change interventions.
